A fun environmental portrait of Gray Montague, Director, Ballet Arizona, shot for Arizona Business Magazine at the Herberger Theatre in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

The ballet was performing Alice in Wonderland for a group of about 500 kids that morning at 10 AM. My assistant and I arrived, set up 10 strobes in about an hour (that is moving quickly!) and did the shoot... when we were done, we quickly pulled the equipment out of the way, as they opened the doors and let in the 500 kids.

Lighting: Yes, of course... (10) Dynalite strobes
Main light: Medium Chimera, camera right
Additional strobes: 10" reflectors w/diffusion, 1/4 cto and black wrap Cinefoil

Hasselblad 50mm lens with an 81B filter
