Pete Ensenberger, Photo Editor for Arizona Highways assigned me to shoot a series of portraits of people in Florence, AZ including this one of Larry & Nedra Quick.

Emus are not the easiest animal to get cooperation from to be in a photograph (easier than sheep however).

Strobist / Lighting info:
Nikon SB-26, Off camera flash fired with 12' ttl cord, held by "voice activated carbon based light stand" (i.e. the photo assistant).

Nikon 20-35mm lens with an 81B filter
