Environmental Portrait of Sharon Harper, President and CEO, The Plaza Companies for Arizona Business Magazine.

While scouting locations, I saw this portico at one of the Plaza Companies properties and thought it would make a beautiful background for the portrait of Sharon Harper. I discussed wardrobe options with Sharon and asked her to wear something pastel... she showed up at the shoot wearing the perfect power blue jacket, I could not have asked for more.

Strobist info / Lighting: (3) Dynalites strobes
Main light: Medium Chimera to camera right with (2) additional Dynalite heads with 10" reflectors more for fill on the plants and the overall space, as I wanted a very soft light for the shot. I chose to over expose the parking area in the background so there would be little detail.

Hasselblad 50mm lens with an 81B filter, exposure: 1/60 sec @ f/8
Film: Fuji RDP 100
Photoshop: minimal.
